"The church has a huge window under the front gable, perhaps making that its most distinguished feature. The front doors are of wood, very ornate and very beautiful. I could not figure out of what the principal building material is composed. The front looks built out of some kind of bleached white, irregularly formed, flat rock. The overall architecture has a very unusual flavor. Imagine Spanish mission meeting classic Arabian and that is what you have here. According to the sparse information provided by the inventory of contributing structures, this is a Gothic revival church. The address is also listed as 45 not 47 as indicated by the church website.

The cornerstone is located on the left side of the building, just above a big piece of wood trim, about 4 feet off the ground. The stone is massive and the 1901 date looks to have been recently pained gold. I doubt this congregation was the original inhabitants but in their infinite wisdom, the church could not be bothered to include a history of their institution on their website."    (Attribution: http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks)
