This booklet also comes with a single sheet of onion skin paper with a hand written letter of some sort. It appears the student was practicing. The writing on the letter is in pencil and has faded significantly since originally written. I've included two different scans of the letter. The second of the two has been manipulated with respect to contrast to make the writing more visible.
The booklet has a copyright of 1917 and the date on the enclosed letter is 1918.
Condition: This publication was clearly used by someone when taking this course. It has various corners folded back and it was clearly folded down the middle vertically, as if folded in half and place in someone's back pocket. Also, there is writing on some pages, as the student was practicing or taking notes. See scans. All pages are intact, with minor staining here and there.
